One Act Play went to the State Competition in 2014 and received a star performance avenging a controversial DQ in the 2013 Sections. Mitch played the police chief in this gut-wrenching story about a clothing factory that burned down in the early 1900's that killed hundreds of people. I learned this year that you have to tear the judges heart out if you want to get the highest honor. Sitting through the State production was grueling. I bet 6 of the 8 performances were sad and depressing - about half way through my emotions needed a break. I think the only teams that starred were tearjerkers. Way to go Buffalo - it was fun to watch you guys reach the highest honor.
