It was an up and down season for the Bison under new head coach Todd Bouman. It was also an up and down season for Mitch (#60). Mitch worked hard in camp to win the starting RG spot for opening night at STMA - one of the top ranked teams in the state. He held is own his in his first varsity game and said the speed of the game caught him off guard right away. The Bison started the season 0-4 as they played 3 of the top 8 teams in the state. As a result, Mitch and the starting QB were casualties of the slow start - both losing their starting jobs for Week 5. Week 5 and 6 saw the Bison make dramatic late game comebacks (against lessor competition) for back-to-back W's. With the Bison on a roll Mitch didn't get much PT on the line. The Bison ended the season 3-6 getting beat for a 2nd time by Monticello in the 1st round of the playoffs. Despite the roller coaster ride for Mitch we are proud of how hard he worked and what a great teammate to his fellow line-mates all season. He got a taste of varsity FB in Class AAAAA and carried himself with class and character along the way. We are super proud of you Mitch and looking forward to your Senior year.
