Covid Shutdown

"Stay at Home Order" and Covid Shutdowns brought about all sorts of unprecedented times and photos that may need any explanation several years from now, even though it seems impossible that we would every forget.

Gym shutdowns and no in person workout classes led to an explosion of Peloton bike sales, of course we were one of them!

The mask selection at J&J Athletics during Covid.

Birthday parties with friends in the garage during Covid...

Unrelated to Covid I believe, but for some reason Jeff had a nasty fissure for most of the damn year!

You know there is a stay at home order when you spot the boys playing basketball just the two of them.. usually there is a herd of neighbor boys with them.

Shutdown left time to get out old toys...

Covid shutdown... seemed like a great time to learn how to clean toilets!

The only toilet paper I could find to purchase for a short time during Covid... commercial size rolls. I think I found it on Amazon.

Grant was saving up for something (a computer I believe) during Covid and  had a side business detailing the interior of cars for awhile. He cleaned our cars and I think about 3 customers, then his birthday came along and he had the money he needed... the business fizzled out:)

Prior to Covid the boys were doing a Strength Camp through Hotova Crossfit. When the shutdown happened, classes could no longer be held in person. The instructors got created and hosted zoom classes and had the kids use their backpacks as weights. Desperate time, desperate measures I guess...

Grant demonstrating the proper use of a mask...

Covid Shutdown... also a good time to learn how to cook.

Walks with friends during shutdown, 6 feet apart.

Time for games during Covid, as life as just slowed to a halt.

Online school...

Shut down = more time for games.

This is what coffee with friends looked like during Covid.

Also more time for video games of course:)

More online school... fun times.

Visiting with parents.
More coffee dates.
