Grant's is 5!

I think this is a little out of order - I will have to talk to the Blog Master about that. We always have donuts for the kids on their birthday and open up gifts in the morning. Grant is tearing into the gifts his brothers got him - highlighted by the Golden Ninja Lego set and a new Skylander.

More Baseball

Pics from one the late season games - notice the boys ditched the baseball pants and eye black because they were too hot - Wimps! They have really improved over the year - especially at the plate. They are both very good hitters. Joel has a very natural swing ala Ken Griffy Jr. and his looking to hit it deep every time. Grant is a little more gritty. He chokes up and hits line drives all over the field. He reminds me a little of Chuck Knoblauch (for all you old Twins fans out there). Fielding is a little different story as it is difficult for all the kids to pay attention. I am constantly saying, pay attention, stand up, no playing in the dirt, stop bothering him, etc. The Tiger Sharks are great in the post-game huddles but more importantly they love the post-game snacks!

First Beach Day of the Summer....

was June 26th - how depressing! Joel and Grant are becoming quite the fish! They had a great time at the beach with a bunch of their friends.

Father's Day

Once again the boys went shopping for me for Father's day. This usually involves snacks that Katie won't let me have anymore (Cheetos), a nerdy t-shirt (Goonies) and football cards! I always look forward to what they get me!!

Neigborhood Fun with the Boys

This a pretty standard scene on Forest Ride Lane in the summer as Joel, Grant and the neighbor boys spend the entire day playing and racing between the houses looking for treats. It sure is nice that they have kids their age only a few houses away to play with!

Party for Mitch and Grant

Photos from the family part for Grant and Mitch. It is great to have everyone together for the kids b-day party. Katie once again filled Grant's superhero cake request and made a Mitch his very own white cake with white frosting cake. Uncle Jon was once again the hit of the party as his giant blow-up Orb was a hit with Grant, Joel, Lincoln and Jayna. Thanks everyone for making it a great day for the kids.
