Joel and Grant's 1st season of traveling baseball was a success! Both boys had a lot of fun playing on the same team together. As the season went on Grant overcame is fears in the battersbox and Joel continued to improve and gain confidence in the field. From the hitting standpoint they both had their ups and downs but both improved dramatically from the beginning of the season. The most exciting part of their season was watching them pitch. They both established themselves as key pitchers on the team. Always pitching when the game mattered. It's nerve-racking enough watching your son pitch. It will drive you crazy to watch a son struggle in a close game but it's even worse when your other son comes in to relieve him in that close game. The playoffs started with a big 1st round playoff win at Big Lake in an exciting game. The season ended the next game in a 1-run heartbreaking loss at Delano. The only good thing about losing was our never-ending post-game trips to DQ were done for the summer! Great 1st season of traveling baseball guys! Can't wait to watch you again next season!
