The Pocrnich family Christmas at Connie's was a special day as usual with all the cousins, aunts and uncles. Although we didn't know it at the time, this one was extra special, as Grandma Rose passed away just a few short weeks later. I wish I could have known that this day would be the last time I would ever see her alive. I would have spent just a few more moments chatting and made our goodbye hug extra long that day. We have all been blessed by so much time with her, but it is never enough when you have a lady like Grandma Rose in your life, is it? She is the core of our entire family and she will be missed so much.
Kelly is always the first one doing dishes, wherever we go:)
I feel so lucky to have this beautiful picture of my Grandma and I from the last day I saw her. She so does not look 90 (and that is what everyone says when they see this picture). :) I will cherish it for the rest of my life. I was such a blessed grandchild to have almost 35 years with my grandmother. Even my children have memories with her that I hope to keep alive.
These 3 have become quite the buddies, they have such fun together:)
A little game of Angry Bird Trouble (note George in the backgroud:))
A treasured picture for my sister as well. There is also a beautiful one of just her and Grandma that is not posted here.
no words necessary.
I am so thankful we took the time to take these photos with Grandma. (all of her grandchildren, except Andy).
And all the great- grandchildren (except landon)
me and my boys
