Easter Sunday
We had a nice Easter, celebrating with the Kokotovich's this year. It is not often that we are ALL together, so it was definitely worthy of a group shot. The kids has fun, as usual, hunting for eggs in the morning and indulged to excess all day long. I am pretty sure Joel ate his entire basket in one day. As you can see from the picture, Mitchell REALLY looked like a typical teenager this year, dragged out of bed much earlier than he would of liked by this little brothers. Ahh, the memories... :)
So, SEVERAL years ago when Jeff built this sandbox that is as big as some of our bedrooms in our house, I didn't really get why it needed to be quite so big. This spring, I finally realized that the more friends you can fit in the sandbox, the better:)... and give them a hose and let them add some water = endless fun for everyone and hours of entertainment.
Nighttime Fort
Here is how we found Joel a few nights ago when we went in to check on the boys before we went to bed. In his very own self-made fort in the corner of the room. Note the light blue blanket perfectly covering every inch of carpet on the floor underneath him:) He has done this a couple times since, and we think it is just so cute:) and so Joel.
Mitch - 8th Grade Baseball wrapped-up
Mitch just wrapped up his season of 8th grade baseball. He made the A-team this year for the first time, which was big accomplishment. He had a great season, hitting the ball well and made a spectacular diving catch in the outfield.
His little brothers and Grandpa and Grandma Benson were big fans this year. It is possible that Joel and Grant spent more time in various Biffy's around the county that actually watching the games and in fact, this blog post is really not complete without a picture of some of the Biffy's we visited, but hey, let's keep this mostly about baseball, not Joel and Grant's bathroom schedule:)
