These litte lego ninja spinjitsu dudes are a big deal around here lately. At the end of each day, there are approximately 400 TINY little lego dude parts laying out on the floor from being played with ALL day long.

End of an Era
After 4 years with our daycare lady, Mary, the boys had their very last day last Thursday. Cliche, I know, but where in the world did that time go?! I can't believe it is time to move on to the next step of the school years for the boys. Yes, Grant is still a year away, but he is going to spend this next year going to our neighbors daycare after preschool one day a week while I work, and mostly, spend his last year at home with mom. I am feeling the need to savor every moment of this last year.

Introduction to Flag Football!
Jeff is already preparing for and daydreaming about his return to flagfootball coaching a year from now. Buffalo's Comm Ed football program starts for kiddos going into first grade, and luckily Jeff's buddy that he had so much fun coaching Mitch's teams with, also happens to have a son Joel's age as well. I have a feeling that Grant will not be left out next year and already plans on going along to all the practices to get a year head start. Grant tends to be the little more focused of the two boys, but if Joel keeps his head in the game, he could have some potential:)
Spicer Triathlon - Second Time
My friends and I had a great weekend at the Spicer Triathlon, and we even took home a couple of medals. I got 4th place in my age category and actually almost won a medal too, despite a terrible experience once again in the water, due to my lack of swimming experience. I cut 8 minutes off my times from last year, which was great!
Hibbing Visit
The little guys and I took a special trip to Hibbing to visit the great grandparents one more time before school started.
We also got to spend some time on my mom's friend's pontoon and do some swimming with her daughters 2 little girls. The boys had a great time with their new friends Abby and Olivia. (more phone pics below)

The boys loved watching my mom's friends son wakeboard
Grandma got them some new coloring activity sets, and they spent a good deal of time working on those.
