Academic Awards Night

Mitch and Principal Mark Mischke.  BHS is fortunate to have Mark as their principal.  Mark was always a safe bet to tear up 20 seconds into any speech he gave regarding his students.

Each year BHS names 5 male and female Seniors as finalists for the BHS Hall of Fame.  1 of each is then inducted into the BHS Hall of Fame.  Mitch was nominated as on of the 5 finalists.  This was quite an accomplishment for a graduating class of more than 450 total students.  Great job Mitch!

Outstanding Male and Female Actors - Mitch and Emma Maxson

Mitch and Tracy Hagstrom - Durant (HD).  What a great theater director and mentor for Mitch.  She saw something in a goofy freshman 4 years ago and molded him into quite an actor.  Mitch and always said she was part theater director, part football coach.

Theater Awards night.  What a great 4 years of theater!  It was always fun to watch the outstanding shows - what a great group of kids to route for!  As a parent it is was a nice break from the sports, sports, sports - no stress - just sit back and enjoy the show.  It has a been a pleasure to watch you grow from Sunday School Christmas programs and Prairie Fire theater to award winning actor in high school.  Great job Mitch!
