One afternoon Katie was alerted to yelling and chaos in the backyard (ok - more than the normal yelling and chaos). She went to check outside and found the kids running and screaming that bees were chasing them. As she went to investigate she found this hornet's nest under our porch. Notice the green mega nerf bullet in the side of it courtesy of Grant. You can imagine the inhabitants of the next were none too pleased...
I wish I had pictures of the crying children in the aftermath of this..

Joel and Grant Football
JR Bison FB 2015 saw Joel playing his 1st year of tackle football. He started out timid, then started to come around. We had a concussion scare early in the year but it was minor if a concussion at all. he got to carry the ball a few times this year and ran hard - scoring on a 2-point conversion. Grant was the wily veteran for his 3rd and last year in flag football. He was arguably the best player in the league on both offense and defense. When it came to 4th down Grant got ball to get us the 1st down. He nearly always scored a TD making runs that left in Grandpa's jaw on the ground. Grant also practiced all year with Joel's tackle team just for fun. At the end of the season the kids got to play at TCF Bank stadium - how cool is that!

Mitch Football
Buffalo season saw the Bison only win one game as they continued to grow under new Coach Bauman. Mitch started 1/2 the games at right guard his senior season and contributed all year on special teams. It had it's ups and downs but as Mitch stated at the post season banquet "he wouldn't trade it for the world". We are very proud of how hard he worked and how he carried himself during the season. The Bison's last drive of the season saw the offense march down the field in a 2 minute drill to score in the final seconds against Lakeville North. It was fun to see Mitch and all his Senior teammates on the field for one last drive together.
