Book Parade

Every year at Discovery Elementary the kids do a book parade.  They dress up as their favorite character from a book and march the halls at school.  Joel went as Hiccup from the How to Train Your Dragon books.  Grant went as Captain America from the Avengers books.

One Act Play - Gold Star Ohio

Goldstar Ohio was story of a town whose families lost their sons to military service.  It was a very emotional play and challenged the kids to make that deep connection to the families every night.  It was emotionally exhausting just watching it multiple times - let alone performing it.  For the 2nd year in a row Buffalo went to the State Competition and received a star performance - the highest award possible.  Mitch played the local sheriff that had to escourt the military to the families homes to inform them of their loss.  

Superbowl - Patriots vs. Seahawks

Super Bowl Sunday at Uncle Jon's.  Joel and Grant made their own homemade signs to cheer on their favorite teams.  The entire family cheered on their favorite team and enjoyed a fantastic game!
